Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Stainless Steel Shop Welder to perform high-quality welding on stainless steel components in our shop. The ideal candidate will have expertise in MIG and TIG welding, and a strong ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. You will be responsible for ensuring all welds are precise and meet our high standards of craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel materials.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
• Ensure welds are executed to high-quality standards, meeting industry specifications.
• Inspect and measure workpieces to verify adherence to specifications.
• Maintain and operate welding equipment and tools effectively.
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on welding equipment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Stainless Steel Welder with demonstrated skills in MIG and TIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Knowledge of stainless steel properties and welding techniques.
• Familiarity with welding safety practices and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with custom stainless steel fabrication and finishing.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on welding equipment.
• Knowledge of welding best practices and industry standards.
